Equal Opportunities Project Qualifies for EU Support
Supported by the EU Sivil Düşün Programme, the Equal Opportunities project aims to empower women-led businesses and women employees. Training, a guidebook, webinars, and dissemination activities are planned in cooperation with NGOs.
NGO Cooperation and Educational Resources for Women’s Empowerment
With support from the EU Sivil Düşün Program, Istanbul Nişantaşı University’s Women and Family Studies Application and Research Centre is launching “Equal Opportunities: Empowering Women in Small Businesses.” Led by Prof. Dr. Göknur Akçadağ in partnership with the International BPW Istanbul Business and Professional Women’s Association and with support from TÜRKONFED, UNDP, KAGİDER and CEİD, the project will deliver an Empowering Women in Small Businesses Training Program. It will prepare a guidebook to help businesses develop women-friendly policies, organize webinars and conduct dissemination activities. The project aims to strengthen women-led businesses and women employees.
