The Four Elements Found in Nature
Lecturer Ferhat Dumanlı served on the jury of the 18th Pera Creative Costume Competition, themed around the four elements. Designs were assessed for originality, aesthetics, and conceptual approach.
Lecturer Ferhat Dumanlı from Istanbul Nişantaşı University Vocational School’s Public Relations and Publicity Program served as a jury member at the 18th Pera Creative Costume Competition.
Approaching art, design and creativity from an interdisciplinary perspective, this year’s competition was held under the theme “The Four Elements Found in Nature: Earth, Water, Air and Fire.” Participants’ costume designs were evaluated on conceptual approach, aesthetic coherence, originality and creative interpretation.
Aiming to expand young designers’ artistic expression and encourage creative production, the Pera Creative Costume Competition is an important platform strengthening interaction between academia and the creative industries. Lecturer Ferhat Dumanlı’s jury role represents a valuable contribution to Istanbul Nişantaşı University’s academic representation and institutional visibility in culture, art and creative disciplines.
