Photography and Storytelling Meet at “Traces from the World” Talk
Photographer Nurettin Boydak shared images and stories from different regions at Traces from the World, introducing students to cultures and life experiences through visual storytelling.
The “Traces from the World: Following a Story” talk at İstanbul Nişantaşı University NeoTech Campus, featuring photographer and activist Nurettin Boydak, brought together photography and storytelling enthusiasts. Sharing photographs bearing traces of diverse regions, cultures and struggles for survival, Boydak offered students a compelling visual journey.
Noting that every photograph tells a unique story, Boydak revealed wars, nature’s captivating beauty, cultural elements and struggles for survival across different regions through the language of photography. Through these stories, students encountered traces from around the world, while the power of his images enabled them to explore the stories of different events and people firsthand.
