Beyond the Walls: Concrete Walls, Tender Hearts
The Beyond the Walls: Concrete Walls, Tender Hearts project, coordinated by Dr. Faruk Salih Şeker, received support through the Gönüllüyüz Biz call, focusing on student volunteering and social awareness.
The project prepared under the coordination of Dr. Faruk Salih Şeker, a faculty member at Istanbul Nişantaşı University’s School of Physical Education and Sports, qualified for funding under the “We Are Volunteers” Project Support Call run by the Ministry of Youth and Sports’ General Directorate of Education, Research and Coordination.
“Beyond the Walls: Concrete Walls, Tender Hearts,” developed by student team members Meryem Elif İyin, Kağan Öder, Gülcan Karakaş and Umutcan Erdoğan, was awarded support under project code G-1121.
To be implemented within this public institution’s project support call, the work enables students to develop projects centered on volunteering and social awareness while supporting the university’s societal contribution activities.
