ESN Nişantaşı’s Fire Safety Training and Drill Receives a National Award
The ESN Türkiye Spring National Assembly (NA Aegean’25), hosted by Ege University in İzmir on 30 May–1 June 2025, brought together 39 ESN sections from across Türkiye.
ESN Nişantaşı Club, operating within the Erasmus Coordination Office of the university’s Department of Health, Culture and Sports, won third place nationally in the Safety category for its Fire Safety Training and Drill activity.
The practical activity raised students’ awareness of fire safety and emergency preparedness. It helped develop safety awareness and readiness for emergencies within the student community, including international students.
The award reflected the club’s engagement with international students, teamwork and social responsibility activities carried out through student organisations.
The university continues to support student activities that develop health, safety and emergency awareness alongside academic development.
