An Exhibition Visit for Cultural Heritage and Interdisciplinary Learning
Second-year students from Istanbul Nişantaşı University’s Department of Communication and Design visited “The Story Takes Place in Istanbul” at Meşher Gallery, guided by Koray Dinç and Yalçın Taş.
Focusing on representations of Istanbul in Western literature from the 16th century to the present, the exhibition enabled students to explore a wide selection ranging from graphic novels and science fiction to spy stories and fantasy narratives.
Organized around approximately 300 books from the Ömer Koç Collection, the exhibition provided information on rare manuscripts, first editions, signed books and visual materials from different periods.
The Department of Communication and Design thanks Meşher Gallery for its contributions and hospitality in hosting this cultural event.
