Research, Innovation and Interdisciplinary Cooperation in Student Clubs
At Istanbul Nişantaşı University, we are proud of another success achieved through our students’ innovative projects. Our SEFİNE mobile application project received an award in the “Reaching and Accessible Türkiye 2053 Interuniversity R&D Ideas Competition,” organized by the Transport and Infrastructure Academy Centre (UDHAM) affiliated with the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure.
Among 115 projects submitted by 205 students from 62 universities, SEFİNE won an award. Developed jointly by the Maritime Club and the Scientific Projects Research and Development Club (BIPAG), the mobile application offers an innovative perspective on transport and maritime affairs and impressed jury members with its proposed solutions.
This achievement once again demonstrated Istanbul Nişantaşı University’s R&D and innovation culture, its commitment to interdisciplinary cooperation and the productive strength of our student clubs. The project effectively reflected students’ technical knowledge and their focus on social benefit.
We thank all students involved, members of the Maritime Club and BIPAG, their academic advisors, and our Dean of Students Office and Department of Health, Culture and Sports for organizing the effort, and wish them continued success. Istanbul Nişantaşı University will continue supporting students’ potential and encouraging projects that shape the future.
