İstanbul Nişantaşı University Skydef Team Achieves Major Success at TEKNOFEST 2024!

The Skydef project, a source of pride for İstanbul Nişantaşı University, achieved significant success at TEKNOFEST 2024 in Antalya. Competing in Air Defence Technologies, the team ranked eighth among 250 teams with 180.3 points, impressively demonstrating its capabilities. The achievement received considerable recognition for the team’s technical skills and creative solutions.

TEKNOFEST Board Chairman Selçuk Bayraktar examined the project firsthand, showing close interest in our students and providing feedback. Presidency of Defence Industries President Prof. Dr. Haluk Görgün also closely examined Skydef’s work and offered important advice. These encounters with leading figures provided motivation and valuable career inspiration.

The team comprises talented students from İstanbul Nişantaşı University’s Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics and Science departments. Demonstrating the power of interdisciplinary collaboration and collective effort, they have taken an important step towards becoming tomorrow’s innovative leaders. Their success reveals their potential to become leading researchers, entrepreneurs and academics in Türkiye and worldwide.
