Istanbul Nişantaşı University Contributes to International Peace and Technology Project
Prof. Dr. Berrin Şahin Kalsın joined the Peace and Emerging Technologies working group of the COST PEACE project, an international research collaboration exploring peace studies, AI and digital transformation.
International Research Cooperation on Peace and Emerging Technologies
Prof. Dr. Berrin Şahin Kalsın, Dean of Istanbul Nişantaşı University’s Faculty of Art and Design, has been appointed to WG4: Peace & Emerging Technologies within the EU-supported COST Action CA23129 “Peace Research Community Europe (PEACE)” project.
This important international collaboration aims to contribute to innovative research and effective policy development by examining intersections between peace studies and artificial intelligence, digitalization and other emerging technologies. Prof. Dr. Kalsın’s role in this working group will enable her to play an active part in developing sustainable solutions for peace, particularly through an interdisciplinary perspective.
