Professional Development Week Certificates Presented
At the start of the 2025-2026 academic year, the Foreign Languages Department completed its Professional Development Week organised by the Continuing Education Unit. Instructors who attended sessions on AI in education, lesson planning, occupational health and safety and first aid received their certificates.
As the Foreign Languages Department of Istanbul Nişantaşı University, we attach great importance to the continuous development of our academic staff. As the 2025-2026 academic year began, the start-of-year Professional Development Week was completed.
During the week organised by the Continuing Education Unit, sessions led by trainers from within the university and from outside focused on topics such as the role of artificial intelligence in education, preparing effective lesson plans, occupational health and safety, first aid, administrative orientation and the accreditation process.
At the end of the development week, participants were presented with their certificates by Assoc. Prof. Dr. İhsan İkizer, Head of the Foreign Languages Department. Our teachers wrapped up the week with a breakfast together, celebrating the start of the academic year in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
