Transformers ED Türkiye Held at Istanbul Nişantaşı University
Transformers ED Türkiye on 18 December 2025 connected students with denim and textile experts to explore fibre innovation, the circular economy, production, and sustainability.
Istanbul Nişantaşı University’s Department of Textile and Fashion Design hosted Transformers ED Türkiye on December 18, 2025, to offer a comprehensive perspective on the future of Türkiye’s denim and textile industry.
Held as a vocational education activity, the program aimed to provide students and early-career professionals with foundational knowledge and industry experience in denim, fiber technologies, innovation and sustainability. It addressed the fundamentals of denim production, fiber innovation, circular economy, product development and Türkiye’s transforming textile ecosystem.
Expert speakers from leading companies including The LYCRA Company, Sharabati Denim, Ereks–Blue Matters, Lenzing Group, Rematters – Textile Recycling Solutions, Colin’s and BOSSA shared knowledge and experience. Students and young professionals gained current, practical insights into textile production and product development directly from industry professionals.
Connecting theory with industry experience, the event developed students’ professional awareness of innovation, sustainability and circular economy practices in textiles.
Istanbul Nişantaşı University’s Department of Textile and Fashion Design continues to support young talent’s professional development through industry cooperation and strengthen knowledge and experience exchange concerning the textile industry’s future.
