Seminar on Psychological Resilience in Healthcare Professionals
A seminar entitled “Psychological Resilience in Healthcare Professionals” was organised for First and Emergency Aid students at Istanbul Nişantaşı University’s Vocational School of Health Services.
Specialist clinical psychologists Alper Günerigök and Büşra Üstün discussed the psychological challenges healthcare professionals may encounter and ways of coping with them.
Supporting students’ professional development, the event addressed post-traumatic growth, mindfulness-based stress reduction programmes, institutional support, supportive leadership and teamwork. It helped students develop knowledge and awareness of psychological resilience and stress management in healthcare.
As a professional training activity, the seminar offered a learning environment supporting practical development and preparation for psychological and institutional processes students may encounter in their careers.
We thank programme head Lecturer Ahmet Miraç Titiz, the expert speakers and all participating students.
