Foreign Languages Department’s Quality Standards Recognized by EAQUALS
The Foreign Languages Department met all 56 EAQUALS criteria and earned accreditation until 2030. Communication with teachers was recognised as a Point of Excellence.
Istanbul Nişantaşı University’s Foreign Languages Department successfully completed the evaluation by international accreditation body EAQUALS (Evaluation and Accreditation of Quality Language Services) and was accredited until 2030. Meeting all 56 criteria across 12 areas, the department demonstrated its high international standards in foreign language education.
Operating in 35 countries and advising the Council of Europe on foreign language teaching, EAQUALS is among the leading internationally recognized language education quality assessment organizations, with over 30 years of experience.
The evaluation found that the department met high standards in:
• Teaching quality
• Course programs
• Course organization
• Learning resources
• Assessment and evaluation
Its commitment to student and staff welfare and the accurate preparation of all promotional materials were also assessed positively during accreditation.
Awarded a “Point of Excellence”
EAQUALS evaluators stated that the department achieved a “Point of Excellence” in the “communication with teachers” category.
