Life Below Water at the Second Sustainability Summit
Istanbul Nişantaşı University addressed the conservation of marine and aquatic ecosystems at its Second Sustainability Summit, held on 25 December 2025. In his presentation on life below water, Dr Erdal Arlı examined the effects of pollution, overfishing and climate change on marine ecosystems using scientific evidence. Bringing students, academics and stakeholders together for knowledge sharing, the summit highlighted the environmental, economic and social importance of conserving aquatic ecosystems.
