The Women’s Policy Search Conference in Istanbul, organised in partnership by Istanbul Nişantaşı University and the Ministry of Family and Social Services’ General Directorate on the Status of Women, is a concrete example of government–university policy dialogue. Working groups considered women’s participation in employment and decision making, violence prevention and digitalisation, and undertook preliminary planning for joint projects.
