Vocational Training and Continuing Learning
Professional Development and Reskilling through SEM
İstanbul Nişantaşı University’s Continuing Education Application and Research Centre (SEM) recorded 4,528 participations in professional development and reskilling training in 2025. The training covered basic and refresher programmes for expert witnesses, law and regulatory specialisms, media and digital skills, and occupational health and safety. These activities supported workers’ access to current professional knowledge and adaptation to changing working environments.
Diction and Public Speaking Training for Health Directorate Personnel
Diction and Public Speaking Training for Provincial Health Directorate personnel was delivered among the activities recorded for February 2025. Under the protocol between the university and the directorate, SEM coordinated the training, which was delivered by Conservatory Director Assistant Professor Önder Paker.
The programme covered articulation, voice control, intonation and effective speaking techniques. It aimed to develop health workers’ professional communication with the public, patients and colleagues.

Group Fitness Instructor Workshop on Campus
In 2025, İstanbul Nişantaşı University hosted the AFAA-GFI Group Fitness Instructor Workshop in collaboration with Athletic House Academy. Held on the NeoTech Campus basketball court, the workshop offered vocational learning for people interested in careers in fitness and sport.
Participants gained knowledge of group fitness instruction and received training towards the AFAA-GFI certification.
