Legal Protection of Trade Union Membership
In Türkiye, Law No. 6356 on Trade Unions and Collective Labour Agreements regulates freedom of union membership for workers within its scope. Article 17 leaves joining or not joining a union to individual choice. Membership follows the statutory eligibility conditions and electronic application procedure.

Protection Against Anti-Union Discrimination
Article 25 prohibits making recruitment conditional on membership of, or withdrawal from, a particular union. It provides safeguards against union-related discrimination in working conditions and termination. These provisions are considered according to worker status and the scope of the law.
