2nd Tourism Summit: Women Leaders in Tourism
Female managers in the tourism industry shared their experiences with students at the 2nd Tourism Summit.
Held on 9 March 2026 under the theme “Women Leaders in Tourism”, the 2nd Tourism Summit brought female managers working in different areas of the industry together with students.
Organised jointly by the Tourism and Hotel Management Programme and the Tourism Club, the event was led by Assist. Prof. Dr. Çağla Çetinkaya, Head of the Tourism and Hotel Management Programme.
The summit featured inspiring discussions on the importance of women’s leadership in tourism, managers’ career journeys, industry experiences and women’s growing role in the sector. Our students gained valuable experience by communicating directly with industry representatives.
