The event “EEG Practices and Patient Communication in the Electroneurophysiology Laboratory: Clinical Simulation”, held as part of the Electroneurophysiology Programme, was successfully completed. Guest Electroneurophysiology Technician Kardelen Aydoğan shared her practical experience of the EEG procedure with students. The practical session addressed patient reception, information and consent, electrode placement, stages of EEG recording, activation methods, patient safety and first aid approaches in the event of a seizure. Clinical communication, reporting processes and the professional responsibilities of an EEG technician were also explained through practical examples, helping students reinforce their theoretical knowledge through clinical practice.
