Istanbul Nişantaşı University has added another achievement to its efforts to strengthen quality assurance in education. The Sports Management Programme within our School of Physical Education and Sports qualified for accreditation following assessments by the Sports Sciences Association’s Sports Sciences Education Programmes Evaluation and Accreditation Board (SPORAK).
The accreditation demonstrates that our Sports Management Programme’s teaching and learning processes meet established quality standards and represents an important outcome of our university’s work on continuous improvement and sustainable quality.
The accreditation process assessed the programme’s educational objectives, curriculum, academic staff, practical training opportunities and student support services within a quality assurance framework. Accreditation is important for developing academic quality, strengthening student-centred education and training qualified professionals capable of responding to the changing needs of the sports industry.
Integrating theoretical knowledge with practical education in sports management, our programme aims to develop students’ professional knowledge and skills, enhance their management competencies and prepare graduates to take effective roles across the sports industry.
SPORAK accreditation supports educational activities aligned with these goals through independent evaluation and contributes to a sustainable structure for programme development.
