Our Students Attended the Youth in Quality Summit

İstanbul Nişantaşı University students and club representatives took part in the Youth in Quality Summit organised by Kocaeli University. At the summit, which enabled young people to share knowledge and experience on quality culture, institutional development and student participation, our university was represented by Ravza Çitil (President of the Quality and Productivity Club and University Quality Representative), Mustafa Çubuk (President of the Camping and Outdoor Sports Club), Gabil Nasirli (President of the IEEE Club) and student representative Şevval Özgür.

Sessions addressed spreading quality culture in higher education, the importance of student participation in quality processes and young people’s contribution to institutional development. Participants met student representatives from different universities and exchanged experiences.

As İstanbul Nişantaşı University, we will continue to support our students’ active participation in quality processes. We thank Kocaeli University Quality Club President Talha Güzel and the entire organising team.

Contribution to the SDGs: By strengthening student participation in governance and quality processes and highlighting the role of participatory bodies, the summit contributes to SDG 16 – Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions; to SDG 4 – Quality Education through students’ personal development; and to SDG 17 – Partnerships for the Goals through inter-university cooperation.
