Panel on Autism, Social Inequalities and Awareness through Artificial Intelligence
Knowledge and experiences relating to the Panel on Autism, Social Inequalities and Awareness through Artificial Intelligence were shared.
The findings of the “Autism, Social Inequalities and Awareness through Artificial Intelligence” project, conducted in partnership with Tomurcuk Cooperative and the Sociology Department of Istanbul Nişantaşı University, were shared at a panel held at the university on 21 May 2026.
Led by Assist. Prof. Dr. Bengü Kurtege Sefer, the project involved students İrem Orhan and Zeynep Köylü, as well as alumna and institutional sociologist Gül Vatansever.
The research examined the life stories of individuals with autism, social inequalities and processes of social participation. AI-assisted visualisations aimed to make their experiences visible and raise public awareness.
